In the name of God Amen;
I Catherine McAndrews of Liberty Township in the County of Clinton State of Iowa of the age of Seventy years and being of sound mind do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say:
1st I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret O’Connell half of my real estate and half of all my personal property and half of all moneys, rights, credits and effects.
2nd I give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine O’Boyle half of real estate and half of all my personal property and half of all moneys, rights, credits and effects.
3rd In case either of my daughters that is to say Margaret O’Connell and Catharine O’Boyle should die the said property belonging either of my said daughters shall revert back and belong to they children and in case either daughter dies the one surviving is to take charge of the children and be their guardian and lastly I appoint Margaret O’Connell and Catharine O’Boyle my daughters sole executors of this my last will without bonds.

The above instrument consisting one and a half sheets was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said Catharine McAndrews in and for said last will and testament in presence of us who at her request and in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

I William Kreim, clerk of the District Court in and for said County do hereby certify that on this day at the Nov. Term A. D. 1888 of said Court the will and instrument in writing hereunto annexed and bearing date in the 11th day of Sept. 1888 was duly proved before and allowed by said court as and for the last will and testament of the real and personal estate of Catharine McAndrews late of said County deceased and was by said Court ordered to be recorded as such will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto at my hand and affixed the seal of the court at my office in Clinton in said County this 20th day of Nov. A. D. 1888.
