In the name of God Amen.
I John Doyle of the age of 71 years being of sound mind and memory and in view of the uncertainty of this life do hereby make, publish and declare the following as and for my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to say
First, I direct my executor to pay my funeral expenses and all of my just debts as soon after my decease as the same can be done.
Second, I give bequeath and devise unto my wife Julia Doyle, the undivided one third part of all of my real and personal property and estate after the payment of my funeral expenses and debts in lieu of all dower interest in my said property and estate for her sole use and benefit forever.
Third, I give and bequeath to my daughters Bridget A. Jordan, Maria A. Hodson and Mary M. Gafrey, the sum of three hundred dollars each out of my estate to be paid to them within six years after my death by my executor without interest or at anytime before that time if desires to do so.
Fourth, I give, bequeath and devise to my son John C. Doyle all the residue and remainder of all the real and personal property and Estate of every kind name and nature which I may own at my death for his sole use and benefit forever and my said Executor is to up a suitable grave stone at my grave at my grave an that of my wife and pay same out of my Estate.
Fifth, I hereby nominate and appoint my said son John C. Doyle sole executor of this my last Will and Testament and of my Estate and I hereby revoke all former wills made by me. In witness whereof I have here into set my hand this 10th day of January 1885.

The forgoing instrument was at the date thereof subscribed by John Doyle in our presence and he at the same time declared the same to be his last Will and Testament and by his request we signed our names thereto as witnesses both in his presence and in the presence of each other and the words in regard to grave stones were interlined before signing.

I William Kreim, Clerk of the District Court in and for said County do hereby certify that on this day at the September Term AD 1887 of said Court the Will and Instrument hereunto annexed and bearing date on the 10 of January 1885 was duly proved before and allowed by court as and for the last Will and testament of the real and personal Estate of John Doyle late of said County deceased and was by said court ordered to be recorded as such Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at my office in Clinton in said County this third day of Oct. A.D. 1887
