Lived 1 Calthorpe St. Bloomsbury, London in 1820, Lavender Hill, Battersea after 1827, Shoe Lane in 1830 and after death of wife Sarah; Bramhope Lodge charlton Kent (1840). Retired from Shoe Lane firm in 1853, settled in Bath with his second wife and young family. He had promised his eldest son one-third of his capital on the son's marriage on 30 Aug 1855 in which year he recorded the family in the Fairfield house, Newbridge bill. College of Arms. The promise was neither kept nor was any settlement made; it is believed the two never met after the marriage.

In the 1851 census, Edmund and his son Edmund and daughter Sarah are living in Plumstead, Charlton, England. Edmund has four servants in his household.
