In 1860 George and Susan are living in Decatur with their year old daughter Ann.  Also in the household is Unrie K. Lyon 24 born in NJ.

A carpenter by trade, George and family were living in Decatur, Macon, Illinois in 1870.  No additions to the family after 1870 but a niece Ella Lyon, 18 born in NJ is in the household in 1880.  George is the proprieter of a planeing Mill.  Then in 1900, Susan  is a widow and is living in her home with her three youngest children.  She states that she has given birth to 7 children of which 5 are living in 1900.

In the 1910 census, Fred is a widow with four children living at home.  The are living in Gorham, Fulton, Ohio.  Fred is employed as a lumber dealer, born in Illinois.  His father was born in New Jersey and his mother in New York.
