| SEBASTIAN GREENWAY LAKE son of William and Louisa Lake was born at Clinton, Iowa , December 5, 1889. Sebastian attended school in Clinton and was also a student at Colorado College at Colorado Springs near where his sister lived at Greenland. He earned his BS degree at Iowa State College. After college he moved to Sac City and was an instructor in public schools and was then made the superintendent of schools in that city. In the mid 1920's he purchased the Sac City Greenhouse and established a prosperous business . He married Margaret Currie, a native of Sac county. They had four children. Sebastian was named after his Aunt Jennie Hendrick's husband, Sebastian Greenway of Colorado. |
