San Diego County Fair - 2007
Visiting the fair in late June and early July is always a day of fun.  Looking at the farm animals, rides, new gadgets for sale and the food.  This year the theme was "Honoring Our Heros".  So here is a picture of our military who have given up time to show us some of the vehicles they use and let people look inside and see what it is like to be in one of these machines.

Regardless of what our individual feelings are for this war, we must be supportive of our men in uniform as these are our children, cousins, fathers, mothers, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters of our family who have made a decision to serve.  We must honor these people and give them our thanks and our prayers to come home safe.
We walked around and looked at the flowers and listened to some music.  I bought a couple of CD's from this guy - Tim Mudd who is from England and has now made his home in San Diego.
We then headed over to a little stadium where they had motocross riders and the monster trucks.  The pictures below speak for themselves.  The noise of the trucks echoing off the concrete of the stadium was deafening and I stuffed tissue in my ears so I could take these pictures.  What they can do is truely amazing.  You can click on any picture to get a better view.
