In the 1910 census,  Frederick and Margaret are living with their daughter Anna and husband Otto in New Trier.  Also living with them is their divorced son George E.

Margaret states that she has given birth to 7 children of which 4 survive in 1910.

Also spelled Holdfellow , the1880 census says that Margaret is from Prussia and so are her parents. Frederick and Margaret are living with the Hohlfellers in 1880 along with their three children.  Frederick is a carpenter.   The 1900 census states that she migrated to the US in 1862.  The 1880 census also states that Fredrick was from England but in the 1900 census states that he was from Massachusetts.   Margaret says she has given birth to six children but only 4 are living.  Frederick is employed as a carpenter and Margaret as a laundress.

Have found no birth records for "Amelia".  Found an Emma with the same month and year of birth living with the family in the 1880 census so assuming that Emma and Amelia are the same persons.

In the 1880 census it lists her birth place as Illinois, father's birth place as England and mother's as Prussia.

In the 1900 census it states that Frank is born in Canada and is a painter.  His father is born in Scotland and his mother in Canada. He and Amelia have been married for a year.  She states that she has given birth to three children, but only two are now living.  Frank came to the US in 1884/1885 and at present is not naturalized.  Both Frank and Amanda can read, write, and speak english.  They own their own home and pay on a mortgage. Amelia's son Roy Everett Wilson from her former marriage is living with them and attending school.
