| Every once in awhile, I like to wander through an antique store or two. One day while doing just that, I came upon this old annual. Being the researcher that I am, I felt certain someone would like to have a look at it. So, here are some of the pictures in it along with the lists of faculty and part of the class. | Mr. Daniel W. Lothman (Principal) whose daily life exemplifies the thought "There's nothing so kingly as kindness, And nothing so royal as truth". We dedicate this book with the wish that out of his abundant kindness he will pass its imperfection by. Daniel was born in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Ohio in 1861 to Henry and Clara Elizabeth Lothman who were of German descent. Daniel lived with his sister Clara most all of his life. It appears that his father died when he was young leaving his mother with four children to raise on her own. Daniel died in 1944. |
